A Day in the Life of a Stanford Political Science Major
hi guys what is up it is Catherine and I am just finishing up some readings right now it is like almost 1:00 in the morning and I have class at 9:30 and I just have to like finish reading these before class. I'm up late but I wanted to start this vlog tonight because my roommate will probably be sleeping in the morning and I don't want to wait girl with my vlogging but I want to tell you guys what's up before I start going to class and everything. yeah I'm just gonna vlog the day tomorrow I have a really busy day I have class from 9:30 to 11:20 and then stuff to do I don't even know what it's on my calendar do I have an interview tomorrow oh no my I've definitely been interviewed Thursday but I have to prepare for it tomorrow and then I have class class from 2:30 to 5:20 and then I have a phone banking at 6 to 7 and then I have an immigration policy debate from 7 to 8:30 but I'm gonna leave that early at 8 and go to a talk a book talk with Michelle Dawber about the book know my name by Shimon shel Miller and hopefully have dinner between class and the phone making thought I would just take you guys along for the day and have sort of like a chill vlog hopefully it's gonna be nice out and we're just gonna have a fun busy day together I was in a super good mood tonight after my stamp ring government meeting I was just like chillin. it put me in the mood to vlog and I've been getting in the habit of like not pre filming as much you know what you guys don't give a crap about this at all and I'm just making an intro too long I will see you tomorrow hello good morning you guys it is Wednesday God why does my hello it is Wednesday January 22nd and like I told you guys I have a super busy day today and I thought it was gonna be nice out today but then I woke up and it looks like just the worst outside to put it eloquently and I'm exhausted. that's what we're working with today but we're still gonna have a great I my first class of the day is the class I really like honestly I really like both of my classes today. that's good my second class is just 2 hours and 50 minutes long. that gets you know my it's a little too long class but I really like it too and I learn a lot why minute. that's good okay guys I'm ready for the day pack my backpack last time I tried to pack my backpack while I was vlogging I really just forgot everything I needed. let's focus after my first class I have to come back here and actually I might do some tabling the white Plaza Cardinal 4 and it's tabeling today but I don't really have time for that but I feel bad about helping these are the gray vibes today you guys no Sun in the sky wet bikes heat that just makes the morning. much better okay guys we're tabling for Elizabeth Warren right now in white Plaza what causes under a ton of construction right now but it's also the anniversary of roe v-- wade. there's a table over there to write letters to representatives and just a lot of fun stuff going on yeah this is like our poster of choice for campus here at the Cardinal for Warren table discussing skateboarding like when people skateboarder on this campus Ben was telling us how when they fall off the skateboard and it just like slides into oh right and in conclusion I have a terrible human but you know what it does bring up the issue of healthcare and healthcare hey guys I'm back at limo just carrying some of my as groceries look good you look today. uh we're going to go eat some lunch and then have class again cough cough always I miss you I'm not hey guys please comment down below to get my stew and day-in-the-life I can't tell you for how long I didn't think she's gonna do she just puts way too much pressure on herself to be like perfect and amazing I'd need you guys to know that if I did a day in the life that would be extremely contrived and not not your damn life whatsoever just just make a video. I'm Matthew I have a strange lunch today guys we have some curried tofu cauliflower green beans what is this stream salad how it's and it's actually POI hello I just filmed the tech I use in college video what that is either already up or going up right after this video but yeah on my dorm tour I asked you guys if you wanted to see all of the like actual layout of my tech setup that I have over here and like my monitor and my speakers and what all that is when you guys were into it. I just filmed that video and it should it's either up or going up I'm. sorry but what else I did you I ate lunch came in here chilled for a hot second set up my filming stuff and what am i doing now it is now 2 o'clock I have class at 2:30 I will clean up all of my like setup and just organize a bit and then this is the class that I have from 2:30 and twelve 5:30 it is a three hour class like honestly I don't even mind if my professor is. interesting and I love what I'm learning it's my politics in modern Iran class. very timely to be taking it and what else is going on the Sun came out you guys look how nice it is outside now it's. excited maybe I'll walk to class because it's. nice out sometimes walking is. nice around this campus like sorry sorry sorry everybody bikes just because you know it is a big campus and we're all like in a rush all the time but whenever you just like take a minute to walk and listen to your music while you walk and just like look around it all it's actually. relaxing and it's really nice alone time you know what I think I am going to walk wow what a great decision after a class because I'm out at 5:20 have to eat real fast have fun making at 6:00 have a immigration policy debate at 7:00 and have the book talk thing at 8:00. that's gonna meet will vlog will vlog as much as we can but you guys know what's going on. I'm not going to to like break it down then okay guys i'm walking to class I've been listening to Mac Miller's new album a lot. that's what's in my ears I'm gonna stop at the package Center then drop off these returns I'm like I've been only chopping sustainably for a long time now. I ordered these shoes from this like kind of weird brand because it was sustainably made but then it was just like the strangest sizes and I'm returning them which feels not sustainable to be shipping but that's where we're at alright I am back from class I just spent three hours in a room with no windows and now what time is it 5:00 at 37 I have fun making it six but it's okay if I'm a little late it's not like super rigid and Amy and I are gonna go eat now at the dining hall Amy how was your day someone is asking on my dorm tour where your tapestry is from there you go folks funding right now always here again and basically we you phonebank you use this like the dialer system right here and you just call like right now we're calling people in Iowa and they say hi my name is Katherine Eva volunteer with the Ahlers good morning campaign for president can I talk to you for a little bit and then issues do you care about who are you thinking about voting for and just taught a little bit it's fun but most of the time people don't answer for people are like mad that we're calling or they like somebody else. it's not a lake doesn't feel like the most productive thing honestly but we do with the campaign wants us to do you know yeah yeah but I can't like make the calls and be on the phone at the same time. I can't it like show you that but guys I just made about thirty collars and 0 of them were productive and oh I'm voting for less excited how's it look they don't have any it's honestly really fold is two beats usually are it's between the Stanford Dems and the Stanford College Republicans which always gets pretty heated and is always exciting it is dark again but I'm outside and I just went left the debate oh my gosh it's. dark but I'm right outside of the women's community center and I'm going to the book talk now and Maya should be here which is always fun okay we have. many nice snacks and stickers and free books any Maya is exposing me as usual this is our community centers most beautiful place [Laughter] hey guys I'm home from my long night out and I'm the Ellen Gigi's room getting these coconut chips dude you about today which are amazing I'm probably about to do some homework I have a lot to do still tonight what time is it 9:30 that's not that bad GG's here coding with her surgical gloves on for some room yeah as dramatic as I thought it was going to but hello everybody I just got ready for bed with my PJs on but I still have to go downstairs and do it more work but I think I'm gonna end the vlog in this clip because I just have work to do for the rest of the night and I'm kind of tired anyway I feel like I don't know it's hard for me to tell how these vlogs come out until I edit them but I feel like I've had kind of a stressful running around like doing stuff all day kind of a day and sometimes I don't like putting that out and seeming like I'm like complaining all day or tired all day because I know that I'm super lucky to be here and all that stuff but you know sometimes you just have stressful die tired days and like I'm thankful for those two and that was kind of today and it's just sort of like a hard time in school right now because I'm applying to like summer internships like crazy I'm applying to study abroad and programs for next year I'm applying to classes for next quarter. it's like I I did. much work but none of it was my actual schoolwork that I need to do for the class I'm taking now. it's like kind of a strange like time in the quarter in the year and a little bit more stressful than normal and I'm taking more classes than normal. just like all around kind of an intense time and day but I saw had a really good day and I did a lot of cool stuff today I'm thinking about maybe like I don't know this video was like very politically science have heavy like my first class was probably sign my second was Poli Sci I went to oh gosh when I keep forgetting oh I had like cardinal for Warren all day does and the policy debate and. it just like a lot of bad stuff. no you guys a squad for like day in the life of Poli Sci major and this was basically it maybe I'll title the video I don't know we'll see but thank you guys. much for watching I'm gonna do some more work and hopefully go to bed soon and have a nice day I'll see you guys next time

I'm up late but I wanted to start this vlog tonight because my roommate will probably be sleeping in the morning and I don't want to wait girl with my vlogging but I want to tell you guys what's up before I start going to class and everything. yeah I'm just gonna vlog the day tomorrow I have a really busy day I have class from 9:30 to 11:20 and then stuff to do I don't even know what it's on my calendar do I have an interview tomorrow oh no my I've definitely been interviewed Thursday but I have to prepare for it tomorrow and then I have class class from 2:30 to 5:20 and then I have a phone banking at 6 to 7 and then I have an immigration policy debate from 7 to 8:30 but I'm gonna leave that early at 8 and go to a talk a book talk with Michelle Dawber about the book know my name by Shimon shel Miller and hopefully have dinner between class and the phone making thought I would just take you guys along for the day and have sort of like a chill vlog hopefully it's gonna be nice out and we're just gonna have a fun busy day together I was in a super good mood tonight after my stamp ring government meeting I was just like chillin. it put me in the mood to vlog and I've been getting in the habit of like not pre filming as much you know what you guys don't give a crap about this at all and I'm just making an intro too long I will see you tomorrow hello good morning you guys it is Wednesday God why does my hello it is Wednesday January 22nd and like I told you guys I have a super busy day today and I thought it was gonna be nice out today but then I woke up and it looks like just the worst outside to put it eloquently and I'm exhausted. that's what we're working with today but we're still gonna have a great I my first class of the day is the class I really like honestly I really like both of my classes today. that's good my second class is just 2 hours and 50 minutes long. that gets you know my it's a little too long class but I really like it too and I learn a lot why minute. that's good okay guys I'm ready for the day pack my backpack last time I tried to pack my backpack while I was vlogging I really just forgot everything I needed. let's focus after my first class I have to come back here and actually I might do some tabling the white Plaza Cardinal 4 and it's tabeling today but I don't really have time for that but I feel bad about helping these are the gray vibes today you guys no Sun in the sky wet bikes heat that just makes the morning. much better okay guys we're tabling for Elizabeth Warren right now in white Plaza what causes under a ton of construction right now but it's also the anniversary of roe v-- wade. there's a table over there to write letters to representatives and just a lot of fun stuff going on yeah this is like our poster of choice for campus here at the Cardinal for Warren table discussing skateboarding like when people skateboarder on this campus Ben was telling us how when they fall off the skateboard and it just like slides into oh right and in conclusion I have a terrible human but you know what it does bring up the issue of healthcare and healthcare hey guys I'm back at limo just carrying some of my as groceries look good you look today. uh we're going to go eat some lunch and then have class again cough cough always I miss you I'm not hey guys please comment down below to get my stew and day-in-the-life I can't tell you for how long I didn't think she's gonna do she just puts way too much pressure on herself to be like perfect and amazing I'd need you guys to know that if I did a day in the life that would be extremely contrived and not not your damn life whatsoever just just make a video. I just filmed that video and it should it's either up or going up I'm. sorry but what else I did you I ate lunch came in here chilled for a hot second set up my filming stuff and what am i doing now it is now 2 o'clock I have class at 2:30 I will clean up all of my like setup and just organize a bit and then this is the class that I have from 2:30 and twelve 5:30 it is a three hour class like honestly I don't even mind if my professor is. interesting and I love what I'm learning it's my politics in modern Iran class. very timely to be taking it and what else is going on the Sun came out you guys look how nice it is outside now it's. excited maybe I'll walk to class because it's. nice out sometimes walking is. nice around this campus like sorry sorry sorry everybody bikes just because you know it is a big campus and we're all like in a rush all the time but whenever you just like take a minute to walk and listen to your music while you walk and just like look around it all it's actually. relaxing and it's really nice alone time you know what I think I am going to walk wow what a great decision after a class because I'm out at 5:20 have to eat real fast have fun making at 6:00 have a immigration policy debate at 7:00 and have the book talk thing at 8:00. that's gonna meet will vlog will vlog as much as we can but you guys know what's going on. I'm not going to to like break it down then okay guys i'm walking to class I've been listening to Mac Miller's new album a lot. that's what's in my ears I'm gonna stop at the package Center then drop off these returns I'm like I've been only chopping sustainably for a long time now. I ordered these shoes from this like kind of weird brand because it was sustainably made but then it was just like the strangest sizes and I'm returning them which feels not sustainable to be shipping but that's where we're at alright I am back from class I just spent three hours in a room with no windows and now what time is it 5:00 at 37 I have fun making it six but it's okay if I'm a little late it's not like super rigid and Amy and I are gonna go eat now at the dining hall Amy how was your day someone is asking on my dorm tour where your tapestry is from there you go folks funding right now always here again and basically we you phonebank you use this like the dialer system right here and you just call like right now we're calling people in Iowa and they say hi my name is Katherine Eva volunteer with the Ahlers good morning campaign for president can I talk to you for a little bit and then issues do you care about who are you thinking about voting for and just taught a little bit it's fun but most of the time people don't answer for people are like mad that we're calling or they like somebody else. it's not a lake doesn't feel like the most productive thing honestly but we do with the campaign wants us to do you know yeah yeah but I can't like make the calls and be on the phone at the same time. I can't it like show you that but guys I just made about thirty collars and 0 of them were productive and oh I'm voting for less excited how's it look they don't have any it's honestly really fold is two beats usually are it's between the Stanford Dems and the Stanford College Republicans which always gets pretty heated and is always exciting it is dark again but I'm outside and I just went left the debate oh my gosh it's. dark but I'm right outside of the women's community center and I'm going to the book talk now and Maya should be here which is always fun okay we have. many nice snacks and stickers and free books any Maya is exposing me as usual this is our community centers most beautiful place [Laughter] hey guys I'm home from my long night out and I'm the Ellen Gigi's room getting these coconut chips dude you about today which are amazing I'm probably about to do some homework I have a lot to do still tonight what time is it 9:30 that's not that bad GG's here coding with her surgical gloves on for some room yeah as dramatic as I thought it was going to but hello everybody I just got ready for bed with my PJs on but I still have to go downstairs and do it more work but I think I'm gonna end the vlog in this clip because I just have work to do for the rest of the night and I'm kind of tired anyway I feel like I don't know it's hard for me to tell how these vlogs come out until I edit them but I feel like I've had kind of a stressful running around like doing stuff all day kind of a day and sometimes I don't like putting that out and seeming like I'm like complaining all day or tired all day because I know that I'm super lucky to be here and all that stuff but you know sometimes you just have stressful die tired days and like I'm thankful for those two and that was kind of today and it's just sort of like a hard time in school right now because I'm applying to like summer internships like crazy I'm applying to study abroad and programs for next year I'm applying to classes for next quarter. it's like I I did. much work but none of it was my actual schoolwork that I need to do for the class I'm taking now. it's like kind of a strange like time in the quarter in the year and a little bit more stressful than normal and I'm taking more classes than normal. just like all around kind of an intense time and day but I saw had a really good day and I did a lot of cool stuff today I'm thinking about maybe like I don't know this video was like very politically science have heavy like my first class was probably sign my second was Poli Sci I went to oh gosh when I keep forgetting oh I had like cardinal for Warren all day does and the policy debate and. it just like a lot of bad stuff. no you guys a squad for like day in the life of Poli Sci major and this was basically it maybe I'll title the video I don't know we'll see but thank you guys. much for watching I'm gonna do some more work and hopefully go to bed soon and have a nice day I'll see you guys next time
