whoa it looks like my room is a complete mess right now let me zoom in. it looks less in shambles than it actually is yeah my room is in shambles because I've been preparing I've been preparing to leave for Hong Kong in the next week. be excuse the mess anyways I have gotten a question many times many many many many many many many many many many many many times right asking me basically why did I choose Michigan or how did I choose Michigan was Michigan my first choice this is just this is gonna be a quick video I have to start off with saying that Michigan was not my number one choice going into my I believe my sophomore year my sophomore year was it it was a school that was kinda on my radar but it really did make a difference on whether or not I got in I really didn't have my mind made up on where I wanted to go but I just knew I want to go to college junior came and I continued taking the AC T and the reason why I stopped at a 28 was because that was the score that was necessary to be eligible for Howard's capstone scholarship which meant full tuition at Howard University which is where I really really really wanted to go during the time. junior year I got the 28 and I'm like that okay and then summer before senior year it was time to start applying for colleges. I had to start looking seeing what cause I wanted to apply to overall I applied to Michigan Michigan State Western Michigan University sag nasty Howard Spelman y'all really trying to think of what other schools I applied to I can't remember but once I remember I'm going to put them in the description box and let y'all know but I got accepted to all of them and I got plenty of scholarships from each each and every school everyone was offering me offering me money. I was like good I'm good to go I can go anywhere I want I'm you want to set yourself up that way where the possibilities are image you you literally have leverage to go anywhere you want to go but what I wanted was God's will that's that was what was most important to me. yeah that's how I went about it but I had not received anything from Michigan yet like no money or anything well I knew if I went to Howard I was guaranteed to get the capstone scholarship going forward I was always stuck on how I was just believing and during the whole time that Lord if you show me I won't have to pay a dime to go to school I won't have to pay anything not everything everything will be taken care of and like you'll make away. Lord just show me what your will is and I'll go whenever I think would think about Michigan I wouldn't think any negative thoughts I would have any fear or any regret in regards to that but you know how you sometimes fight guys will you like boom or Wyatt what if what if I was giving me a whole bunch of money right and this could not get to be done but I really learned in this process that it's regardless of the fact go where God is tugging you you know because in the end you won't regret it you won't you won't ever regret it it was later revealed to me that I would have been out of guys we had I had I gone to Howard what kind of made this really real for me and gave me my confirmation was in the process of putting in my payment for a spot at Howard University when I received you know like what max how they have like um the email notification come across the corner screen you know like you can it's like a little it's like a little box like a little square right and the email was just basically a rundown of everything that I was being offered at Michigan had covered everything everything and at that moment I just called my mom she cut a food she cut up we were just both. happy because I just I'd always known that Michigan was place for me to be but I always use money as an excuse for me not to be able to go which is something that you should never do don't chase after money go where God wants you to go you got your school paper but happy having the worst time of your life again guys will prevail God's will will always prevail but at the end of the day God just really aligned my steps it was too much for me to make that decision by myself I had to roll to carry over or it would have just completely consumed me and made my senior year a wreck it's really not worth stressing over something that guy already has taken care of. we're keeping that in mind y'all just go forward with a great mindset on whatever where I'm supposed to be God's gonna make that happen that's where I'm gonna be that's where I'm gonna end up invest that time now preying on where God has for you to be because it makes all the difference in the world I'm just being completely honest with my story on how I got to Michigan how I decided on Michigan okay this thing keep overheating.
